Environment
Veritas Christian Academy strives to live in harmony with its natural environment and to be good stewards of God's bounty. We understand and appreciate that our daily interactions with our environment affect the world around us. Every effort has been made to use the existing buildings, upgrading them to make them more energy efficient and to provide a safe environment for our students. As we anticipate enlarging our campus through the addition of a High School, our goal is to design and build a facility that meets LEED Certification requirements.
The Veritas Student Government has established a school-wide recycling program. First Person Nature, an elective instructing students in the care of and appreciation for God's creation, is available to our Upper School students. Our Parent Teacher Fellowship has been actively involved in establishing and maintaining our landscaping, carefully selecting native flowers, plants, and shrubs to enhance the beauty of our campus.
