June 7 - 11, 2010 Jewelry Making & Mixed Media Art Spend a week learning to make earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and even your own beads! You will also explore using beads, fabric, and mixed media to create uniquely textured and layered artworks. Make & take beautiful art treasures to keep or give as special gifts!
- Rising 6th - 9th graders
- 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
- $100 per camper
- Wear art-making clothes
- Bring a water bottle and a snack
- All supplies are included!
- Minimum 6 campers
- Maximum 15 campers
June 21 - 25, 2010 Basketball Camp Learn basketball skills, perform drills, and work on shooting techniques with VCA Coaches Jason and Tara Alexander.
- Rising Kindergarten - 5th graders
- 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
- $60 per camper
- Wear play clothes
- Bring a water bottle
June 21 - 25, 2010 It's an ART PARTY! Spend a week exploring visual art through drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, and collage. Taught by Jennifer Lipsey Edwards, author & illustrator of "My Very Favorite Art Book" Series and VCA ARt teacher.

July 12 - 14, 2010 2010 Veritas Summer Chess Camp Session I
with National Chess Life Master Mr. Neal Harris
We need you to accept this quest and save our Chess King! Only the brave and fearless should dare to respond. Players of all levels including beginners to advanced are welcome. This quest will include several mini tournaments that will improve your skills, tactics, openings, and checkmates. Sportsmanship will be stressed with an emphasis on having FUN. Space is limited to only 20 students for each section and those who are first to respond will have the honor of saving the King and earning a Medal of Honor!
