The following excerpts are taken from letters written by our parents.

"My son has once again had an amazing year in School Within A School.  He has grown in maturity and confidence, and has kept up with peers in his studies.  I can't imagine where he would be without the love, guidance and support he gets from the program."

"I came into this program very skeptical.  School was a source of great stress.  I was at the end of the line, so we gave SWS a try.  The beginning was definitely rocky with my child testing everyone at every turn.  I thought, 'here we go again - nothing or nowhere is going to work'.  Through the great staff, my child began to realize that these people cared even though they were not going to back down.  I praise the staff in SWS for their perseverance, consistency, grace and never ending love.  This program gives my child help in areas he needs help and lets him excel in areas he can.  I believe if he had not had this guidance, he would have given up long ago and would be just another child lost in the system.  Instead, he has been given the opportunity to grow and achieve things neither of us would have ever thought possible."

"This year, SWS started its Homework Helper program, which was an answer to prayer, since homework was such an issue with my child.  In her mind, once she left school she was done for the day and it would take hours to do her work at home.  The SWS Homework Helper program lifted a huge burden from us because by keeping her in the school environment we can rest assured that she is working and getting homework done.  We are so very thankful for SWS.  My child would not be where she is today if it weren't for the wonderful and loving staff of SWS.  We look forward to the next school year knowing she is receiving the best assistance possible."

"I have seen a tremendous positive change in my son's behavior and general outlook on life because of the help, understanding, and one-on-one commitment he receives from School Within a School teachers.  School Within a School has made such a positive impact on my son and our family.  Knowing now that our son has Aspergers Syndrome, we as a family have come together, even more than before, to embrace and motivate him. His potential is boundless.  Because of the efforts made for him he now sees that he can do whatever he sets his mind to.  Before sending him to Veritas, he was only challenged by his peers and made to feel like he would never fit in.  Now he is one of the "gang" and wants to strive to be the best student and friend he can be.  I know God opened up all the right doors for us when we found Veritas.  I know in my heart that God will fulfill this special plan for our son."
