Tina Woods is the Receptionist at Veritas Christian Academy. Mrs. Woods joined the Veritas Community in 2017.

​Why Veritas?

The Classical Christian approach to learning drew our family here.  I love most being able to help our students, teachers, and families.  Whether it is making a copy for a student, answering a question over the phone, or passing a message along to a teacher, I find joy in my work.

​Education

I have a Master in Education in Curriculum and Instruction emphasizing Children’s Literature from Penn State. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have also taken a few courses in library management.

About My Family

Aside from my dear husband, Robert, and our two girls, Mary and Melinda, we also have two cats named Lois and Lowry, after my favorite author. 

 

​Hobbies

My favorite thing to do is spend time at the lake in our camper. To me there is nothing more relaxing than hearing the ripples of the water as I am reading a book.

Hometown

I grew up in Northeast Georgia, in the city of Commerce.  It is a pretty small town, but most people recognize the outlet malls.
