Admissions Process
At Veritas Christian Academy, we view admissions as a prayerful partnership. Our goal is to walk intentionally with families who desire a Christ-centered, classical education and to provide a process that reflects both care and clarity.

December 15 – Priority application deadline for current VCA siblings
January 15 - Application Deadline for all grades
March 20 - Admission Decision Notification to parents
May 1 – Admissions season closes

Late applications may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis only
Applications submitted after January 15 will be considered late. Late applicants must have their files fully completed to be eligible for rolling admission. Entrance exams and interviews will only be scheduled if space opens up. Should no space become available, families may choose to roll their application forward to the next admission cycle, updating all information at that time. In some cases, a qualified late applicant may receive an offer of admission ahead of those on the waitlist.
Steps to Apply
Step 1: Complete Application
Submit an online application along with the non-refundable $50 application fee, which is required for processing. *Please note that an application is required before a campus tour can be scheduled.
Step 2: Schedule Testing & Family Interview
After a completed campus tour, we will schedule your child's testing. This helps us determine your child's best placement in class levels and/or uncover areas that need remedial help before enrolling. Please allow one to two hours for completion of testing.
At Veritas, our family interviews are an important part of the admissions process. These conversations give us the opportunity to get to know your family, hear your story, and share more about our mission and approach to classical Christian education. They are designed to ensure that parents and our school are missionally aligned, working together to support each child’s growth — both academically and spiritually. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential to a student’s success, and the family interview helps us begin building that relationship with clarity, warmth, and prayerful discernment
Step 3: Tuition Assistance (Optional)
If financial assistance is needed, please first complete steps 1 and 2. Next, you will proceed to the FACTS website and create an account to apply for a scholarship. Simply indicate you are applying to “Veritas Christian Academy” when prompted.
When your FACTS application is complete, we'll contact you with a scholarship decision within 2 to 3 weeks. *Please note that is is required you apply for the NC Opportunity scholarship first before applying to our FACTS website.
Step 4: Enrollment Contract & Deposit
If accepted to Veritas Christian Academy, you will be sent an electronic enrollment packet with the enrollment contract included. Upon receipt, the applicant's family will have fourteen (14) days to complete the packet and submit their enrollment deposit. The enrollment deposit is $150 for PreK-11 families. Should a family choose not to complete the enrollment packet within 14 days, their child's spot will no longer be held and will be released back into the general admissions pool.
Note: After May 15th, applicants will have 5 business days to complete the enrollment packet and deposit.
